The event “The Resilient Arbitrator: Well-Being, Mentorship, and the Human Element in Dispute Resolution,” held on 29 October 2026 as part of OIC Arbitration Week 2026, took place at the Cemile Sultan Grove, a venue of the İstanbul Ticaret Odası (İTO) (Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC).
The Istanbul Chamber of Commerce Arbitration and Mediation Center (ITOTAM) was pleased to be represented by Av. Senem Bahcekapili Vincenzi,LLM, Secretary General of ITOTAM, Av. Alper Yeşiltaş, LL.M. and Av. Firdevs Atçeken.
Additionally, Prof. Dr. Ali Yesilirmak, Member of the ITOTAM Arbitration Court, participated as a speaker in the first mentorship session, entitled “Mentorship Session on Navigating Tribunal Dynamics & Appointment Pathways,” sharing his valuable expertise and experience with fellow arbitration practitioners.
The event commenced with opening remarks delivered by Av. Senem Bahcekapili Vincenzi,LLM, who emphasized the importance of mentorship, professional well-being, and institutional cooperation in strengthening the international arbitration community.
The event provided a valuable opportunity for arbitration practitioners to come together in an informal setting, exchange experiences, and reflect on the importance of mentorship, professional well-being, and the human element in dispute resolution. Through meaningful conversations and networking activities, participants had the opportunity to strengthen professional connections across generations and jurisdictions.
